David Lamelas: The Machine

Dia Chelsea presents the first major New York solo show of Argentine artist David Lamelas, tracing his work from 1965 to today. Sculptures, light installations, drawings and a recreated 1968 news office sit alongside a four-chapter film program and scheduled performances. Throughout, Lamelas treats information, time and perception as materials, which makes this a useful introduction to a Conceptual artist long overlooked in the city.
