Becky Suss: Night House
On view · Sep 10 – Oct 31
Philadelphia painter Becky Suss turns to nighttime in this new body of work, showing figureless interiors rendered in blacks, greys and deep blues. Patterned wallpaper, crowded shelves and windows onto flowering or frozen landscapes carry her long-running interest in domestic space and memory. The dark layers shift as your eyes adjust, rewarding slow looking. On view at the 20th Street gallery through October 31.
