Lari Pittman: The Remedy of Analog Space and Time

Los Angeles painter Lari Pittman presents twelve new paintings and ten works on paper at Lehmann Maupin's Chelsea gallery. His crowded compositions combine street signs, textiles, storybook illustrations, dream imagery and multilingual text, drawing on decoration, design and his Colombian childhood. Hot air balloons recur through the series. An opening reception with the artist is on October 29, 6–8 PM, and a conversation with Enrique Juncosa takes place at 5 PM.
