Tauba Auerbach's new show at Paula Cooper's 521 West 21st Street space centers on pointillist paintings of liquid foam seen through a microscope, built from hand-painted dots on sprayed panels that sit slightly off the wall and focus on how foam handles light. The show also includes small heat-camera photographs of warm and cold water currents, suspended glass chimes, and paired rotating sculptures. It runs through October 24.
