A retrospective of Roy Lichtenstein, the first in New York since 1993. It gathers well-known Pop paintings drawn from comics and newspapers, lesser-seen works, and four re-created murals, across painting, drawing, sculpture, film, and prints spanning six decades. The curators frame his hand-painted imitations of printing as a precursor to today's endlessly copied and altered images. On view on the fifth floor.
