Nepenthes New York, the Manhattan outpost of the Japanese menswear label, is putting on a special night at Nublu NYC in the East Village on Saturday, October 17. The event is hosted in collaboration with rawlikesushi_nyc.
Three artists are handling the music: fresh_rollman, kazuya___s and chairmanmaonyc. Sushi will be provided by fresh_rollman, so the evening pairs DJ sets with food in the same room.
Doors open at 10 PM. Nublu sits on Avenue C and is a regular stop for late-night music in the neighborhood. For Japanese-speaking New Yorkers, it is an easy way to spend a Saturday with a mix of Japanese fashion, sushi and club sounds under one roof.
