This two-artist show pairs Daniel Buren and Barbara Kasten at Bortolami's 55 Walker space. Buren has spent six decades making work tied to the architecture around it, while Kasten builds temporary studio sets from mirrors, screens, plexiglass and solid forms, then photographs them. Both lean on light, reflection and geometry, but toward different ends. Kasten's early-1980s Construct photographs hang alongside Buren's recent prism-and-mirror reliefs.
