The Brooklyn Horror Film Festival is back for its 11th edition, running October 15 through 22, 2026. Screenings take place at two Nitehawk Cinema locations, in Williamsburg and Prospect Park, giving the borough eight days of fright just ahead of Halloween.
The 2026 lineup has been announced. The full film program is listed on the festival's Eventive page, where you can browse titles and plan your viewing schedule by screening.
For anyone planning to see more than one film, the festival sells badges, its version of a festival pass, through the "Buy a Badge" link on the official site. The festival also publishes a code of conduct, part of an effort to keep the theaters welcoming for everyone in the audience.
Nitehawk's Williamsburg theater sits on Metropolitan Avenue and is a familiar stop for Brooklyn film lovers. For horror fans, and for curious newcomers looking for a Halloween-season outing, the week offers a chance to see genre films on a big screen alongside a crowd that came to be scared.
