Kith, the New York brand, and Giorgio Armani have released the third chapter of their collaboration, titled Dreams of the Dune, and this one brings in the Italian bootmaker Diemme. The boots sit alongside two other partner pieces in the range: a pair of ASICS sneakers based on the GEL-MAI 0.1, sold only at Kith, and caps from '47. The collection has been on sale since October 16 at all Kith stores and select Giorgio Armani stores.

The collection was introduced on a runway in Morocco's Agafay Desert, outside Marrakech, at sunset. Its design draws on the stillness of the desert and the colors of sun-baked ground, so the palette runs from black and deep blue through earth tones, sand, grey and white. The campaign was photographed on location in Marrakech by Casper Kofi, with runway photography by Lucas Possiede.

Beyond footwear, the chapter is a full wardrobe. Kith reinterprets Armani's unstructured tailoring and approach to volume through deconstructed shapes, softened shoulders, wide fluid trousers and layered silhouettes. Outerwear includes a belted shearling jacket, a two-tone lamb leather utility jacket and a lambskin suede blouson. Fabrics range across suede, leather, silk, cotton, viscose, virgin wool, cashmere and pure hemp. The stated idea is protection without restriction.

In New York, the Kith flagship at 337 Lafayette Street, on the NoHo and SoHo border, is one place to find the collection.
For Japanese readers, the line is also stocked in Tokyo and beyond: Giorgio Armani Omotesando, Ginza, Osaka and the Shinjuku Isetan Men's store carry it, and the Omotesando shop is running a pop-in through November 6. The model and actor UTA was invited from Japan to the desert show.
