LEON'S BAGELS opened at the end of 2023 along Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg and quickly became a popular store with long lines of customers every day. The first store opened in Manhattan's Greenwich Village, and a second store opened soon after in Williamsburg. The name LEON, which is also used in the store name, was inspired by the owner's grandfather, who valued community. Rather than a commercial cafe, MAISON du TSURU has an atmosphere reminiscent of a home-like kitchen. Tucked away on a quiet street in East Williamsburg, it's a spot that even those in the neighborhood might not know of, but the bright-colored exterior is very inviting and the staff is exceedingly warm and friendly. They serve La Colombe beans and have a small selection of sweets and pastries, like macarons.
