Skinny Louie, the Miami-born smash burger brand, now has a shop at 218 Flatbush Avenue in Park Slope. It is the company's first Brooklyn location, and its official site calls it "our first spot across the bridge," promising the signature burgers and shakes in the neighborhood.

Brooklyn follows five Manhattan shops: NoMad, the West Village, the Upper East Side, the East Village and the Penn District. The Park Slope shop is the only one outside Manhattan so far.

The menu is short. Patties are smashed 100 percent fresh Black Angus beef. The namesake Skinny Louie Cheeseburger comes with grilled onions, double American cheese, pickles and Louie sauce. The Classic Burger has American cheese, tomato, lettuce, onions, ketchup and mustard. The Applewood Bacon Burger stacks crispy smoked bacon, American cheese and Louie sauce. Any burger can be made with an Impossible patty or a gluten-free bun. The kitchen allows eliminations but no substitutions.

Fries are the only side, with an option to add Louie sauce. Shakes come in cookies & cream, choco brownie and strawberry bliss, and soda and water round out the drinks.
The Park Slope shop is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. The phone number is (786) 750-1729, and orders can also be placed online through the brand's site.
The brand's news page notes that in 2025 its Wagyu Louie won the Very Best Burger award at a New York burger night. For Japanese readers wandering Brooklyn, it adds a late-night spot for a fresh smash burger.
