Titán is a Northern Mexican restaurant at 5 Front Street in Dumbo. Its own tagline says it all: inspired by Northern Mexico, built for the neighbors of Brooklyn.

Alan Delgado, chef and partner, runs the kitchen. Ivy Mix, bar director and partner, is responsible for the drinks. Lauren Broder oversees design and Julian Brizzi handles operations, both as managing partners.

The bar is a draw in its own right, with seasonal micheladas and a lineup of mezcal, tequila and sotol. Sotol, a desert spirit still less familiar than its agave cousins, is worth trying here. The dining room is done in terracotta tones, and there is a backyard as well.

Dinner is served Tuesday through Friday from 5pm to 10pm. On Saturday and Sunday, brunch runs 11am to 3pm and dinner 5pm to 10pm. The restaurant is closed on Mondays. Reservations are taken online, and gift cards are available. It suits an evening after a walk along the Dumbo waterfront or a relaxed weekend brunch.
