Forest Hills Stadium in Queens opened its 2026 outdoor concert season on June 6 with a show by Bright Eyes. The venue sits at 1 Tennis Pl in Forest Hills Gardens, and the season ran through October 20.
The announced bill was broad. Paul Simon and Bob Dylan, two songwriters central to American music history, were on it. David Byrne, the Talking Heads co-founder with deep New York roots, was part of the lineup as well. Hayley Williams, the Paramore frontwoman; the Australian band King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard; and the country act Zac Brown Band also appeared. Rock, folk, indie and country all had a place in the season.
The stadium is a historic tennis ground that now serves as an open-air music venue. Its official site lays out the practical side of a night there, with pages for the calendar, ticket information, Speakeasy Suites, upgrades and add-ons, food vendors, directions and accessibility. It also keeps a past-shows archive and a history blog, and it runs a toy drive and a community fund. The Bowery Presents is named on the site's newsletter signup.
For New Yorkers, a big outdoor show in a residential corner of Queens feels very different from a Manhattan arena night. With the 2026 season now wrapped, the stadium's calendar and newsletter are the places where future announcements appear.
