Nepenthes New York Special Event at Nublu

Nepenthes New York is throwing a special event at Nublu in the East Village on Saturday, October 17, in collaboration with rawlikesushi_nyc. It is a one-night party that pairs a DJ lineup with sushi.

Three DJs handle the sound: fresh_rollman, kazuya___s and chairmanmaonyc. fresh_rollman does double duty, since he is also the one providing the sushi on the night. Music on the floor and sushi in hand is a combination that suits a downtown Saturday.

Doors open at 10pm. Nublu is at 151 Avenue C, a long-running East Village venue that sits at the center of the neighborhood's late-night scene. For anyone in the city's Japanese-speaking and Japan-minded circles, it promises a relaxed, friendly night out built around good records and fresh sushi.
