Pleasure Dome: Continuum, a multimedia variety show created by Brooklyn drag performer Amygdala, is staged at SoMad, an art space at 34 E 23rd St (4th floor) in Flatiron near Madison Square Park. Amygdala is one of SoMad's 2026 artists in residence.
The show runs in two batches of two nights: Wednesday, October 7 and Thursday, October 8, then Wednesday, November 18 and Thursday, November 19. Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm. It is not a nightly run between those dates.
The evening mixes therapeutic sound, diva-anthem sets, vaudeville tributes, projections and queer political commentary, with performers moving around the room so there are no bad seats. The October shows featured RuAfza, Selena Surreal, final girl '98 and Julie J; the lineup changes each time. Tickets run $15–$25, with a $100 patron option that supports the artists and production.
