London-born Anthea Hamilton, of Jamaican and Filipino parentage, has her first US solo gallery show at Salon 94. She revisits her familiar motifs (legs, boots, pumpkins, butterflies, bricks) but shrinks the scale and raises the labor: eggshell-covered boots, brick-clad leg chairs, and butterflies of New York species. Two companion shows on other floors centre on Gaetano Pesce, a past collaborator.
