adidas PW Adistar Jellyfish: Pharrell's Oversized Sneaker Returns in Red and Onix, Reachable From NYC on Oct. 24

Pharrell Williams and adidas Originals are adding two more colorways to the VIRGINIA Adistar Jellyfish: Red and Onix. Both are set for October 24, 2026. The shoe carries the name of Pharrell's VIRGINIA project. It started with limited releases in 2025, and in 2026 it went to wider global launches in Triple Black, Royal Blue, Triple White and others. These two pairs continue that run into fall.

The design rests on exaggerated proportions. The thick midsole takes its cue from the way a jellyfish moves through water, which gives it a wavy, rippled profile along the side. The upper is engineered mesh wrapped in a sculpted cage, finished with rope-style laces, a padded tongue and collar, and VIRGINIA branding. Sneaker Bar Detroit also notes glow-in-the-dark details, a feature since the model's debut. Captain Creps describes the shoe as adidas' Adistar running heritage reworked as a lifestyle design rather than a performance update.

The Red pair is listed as Red/Core Black, style code KK0633. The Onix pair is Onix/Aurora Onix-Core Black, style code KH6728. Captain Creps says the Onix version sets pale blue panels into a dark grey upper, with yellow-green accents on the heel and sole. Black Three Stripes sit at the midfoot, so the changes in color pick out the overlapping layers.

Both are reported to launch globally on October 24 through the CONFIRMED app, the adidas app and select retailers worldwide. Signups opened October 19. Sneaker Bar Detroit lists the price at $300 in the US, and Captain Creps gives £250 in the UK. For New Yorkers, the app routes are the clearest way in. No specific New York store has been named.
