adidas Samba Camo Faux Pony Hair (KJ7500): A Fall 2026 Pair Worth Knowing in NYC
adidas is dressing the Samba in camo-printed faux pony hair for fall 2026. The KJ7500 pairs an off-white and brown camo upper with cream 3-Stripes, a brown gum sole and pastel green laces and lining, alongside a green-and-brown sibling, KJ7501.
adidas Originals is preparing a new take on the Samba that swaps the usual suede for camo-printed faux pony hair. The release is planned for fall 2026 in two colorways: KJ7500 and KJ7501. KJ7500 is the lighter pair, an off-white and brown camo that European and US sneaker outlets have been calling "White Camo." Its sibling, KJ7501, goes with the more familiar green-and-brown camo.
On both pairs the upper is faux pony hair, with cream-colored 3-Stripes on the sides. The tongue and the Achilles heel panel are done in a contrasting color. On KJ7500, the laces and the inner lining are pastel green, a small pop of color against the muted camo. The KJ7501 gets pink laces and insoles instead. Underneath, both ride on the classic brown gum sole that Samba fans know well.
The materials are not a first for the brand. adidas Originals already used patterned faux pony hair in its Deer Print collection, and these camo pairs extend that line of textured Sambas. Compared with the regular suede version, the pony hair looks fuller and has a clearly different surface. One of the outlets covering the release notes that stacking camo and pony hair, two trends in one shoe, is a bold move.
Official adidas photos of both pairs are circulating, showing the side profile, the rear and close-ups of the hair texture. Sneakerjagers expects the pair to be sold through adidas.
For readers in New York, where the Samba is already an everyday sneaker, KJ7500 is a way to bring pattern and texture into a model most people know in plain leather or suede.
