adidas This Week for NYC Sneaker Fans: Pharrell's Adistar Jellyfish in Red and Storm, Plus CLOT x Edison Chen
Pharrell Williams's adidas Adistar Jellyfish returns in two new colorways, Red and Storm, on October 24 at $300 each. The CLOT collection with Edison Chen is also already on sale through the CONFIRMED app and select retailers worldwide.
The adidas release most talked about this week is Pharrell Williams's Adistar Jellyfish, returning in two new colorways, Red and Storm. Complex, Sneaker Freaker and Sneaker Bar Detroit all report an October 24 release at $300 per pair. The Red pair carries style code KK0633. Both are sold through the CONFIRMED app, the adidas app and select retailers worldwide, and raffle sign-ups opened on October 19. Complex says the Storm pair will be sold on its own shop.
The Jellyfish debuted in 2025. Sneaker Freaker notes it arrived when ultra-slim, low-profile shoes were trending, yet the chunky design was an instant success and has now appeared in almost 15 colorways. The thick midsole is modeled on the way a jellyfish moves through water, giving it a wavy shape, and the upper pairs engineered mesh with a sculpted cage. Glow-in-the-dark details, part of the shoe since its debut, appear on both new pairs. The shoe belongs to Pharrell's VIRGINIA project, which spans clothing, footwear and music.
The two colors differ clearly. Red is a mostly tonal build with blue and orange on the protruding solid panels, which Sneaker Freaker calls possibly the loudest Jellyfish yet. It was also spotted on James Harden before a playoff game. Storm is quieter, with a greyish-blue base and subtle green touches. Complex describes it as predominantly blue.
Also in the mix is the adidas Originals collection with Edison Chen's CLOT, which went on sale October 16 through the adidas CONFIRMED app and select retailers globally. The official adidas Originals Instagram presents it as a collection built for moving through the city. The same account also highlights the adidas x Hellstar collection, released October 10, and the Pokémon Megaride, on sale since September 24.
In New York, the Jellyfish pairs are bought through the app or retailers, and the release lands on Saturday.
