New York streetwear label Awake NY has put out a small-batch collaboration built on one of outdoor fashion's best-known silhouettes: The North Face Nuptse puffer. Artists Omi and Alehsy Lambo customized the jackets by hand, and the run is capped at 50 pieces.

The release began with an in-store drop at Awake NY's flagship. The remaining allocation goes on sale online today at 1 PM. The brand's website has a dedicated "AWAKE x The North Face Nuptse" collection in its shop menu, which is where the jackets are listed.

The Nuptse dates to the 1990s and has long been a staple of street style. Hand work from two artists means each jacket is its own piece rather than a uniform product, which is what gives a run this size its collector appeal. With only 50 made, and some already gone through the store drop, the online window is likely to be short.

Awake NY also offers free shipping on U.S. orders over $150, a useful detail for anyone buying from outside the city. For New Yorkers who follow local labels, it is one of the more notable outerwear collaborations of the fall.
