BEAMS Exclusive Nike Zoom Skylon 11 "Parachute Beige" Launches in Japan
Nike's late-2000s runner, the Zoom Skylon 11, returns in a BEAMS-exclusive Parachute Beige/Baroque Brown colorway. It pairs a beige mesh upper with brown mudguards and is priced at ¥20,130 in Japan.
Nike has released a BEAMS-exclusive colorway of the Zoom Skylon 11, a technical runner that first appeared in the late 2000s. Highsnobiety notes that the Skylon line has become an interesting canvas for experimentation in technical footwear, and that this release is a regional exclusive for the Tokyo retailer rather than a formal collaboration.
The colorway is Parachute Beige/Baroque Brown/Ironstone/Black. A beige mesh base carries tonal synthetic overlays, and rich brown mudguards add a subtle, earthy contrast. Highsnobiety singles out the loose-gauge, open-cell mesh that forms the structure of the upper, with synthetic framing adding support while keeping the shoe light.
Underfoot, a sculpted foam midsole houses Air Zoom cushioning, and deep flex grooves add flexibility. Fullress describes the heel Air Zoom paired with a Cushlon midsole, plus a breathable mesh upper with synthetic leather overlays for support and durability. A durable rubber outsole nods to the shoe's performance roots.
The price is ¥20,130, according to Fullress. That site reported the release on October 19 and lists BEAMS Online and the Nike online store in Japan as places to buy it. The reports describe Japanese sales only, and neither mentions availability in New York.
