CLOT x adidas Superstar Mule: Edison Chen's Sawtooth-Sole Suede Pair, Available Globally Online
Edison Chen's CLOT and adidas Originals have released a Superstar Collection: a blue suede sneaker, a backless mule version, and apparel and a tote. Both shoes sit on CLOT's sawtooth outsole. It is sold through juicestore, the adidas CONFIRMED app and select retailers.
CLOT, the label founded by Hong Kong's Edison Chen, has put out a new Superstar Collection with adidas Originals. According to the brands' own posts, it centers on two fresh takes on the Superstar plus a matching run of apparel and accessories.
The first shoe is a blue suede Superstar. It keeps the shell toe but sits on the sawtooth outsole CLOT has used before. In the official photos you can see a long-nap suede upper, navy laces with gold-colored tips, and a white-and-blue stripe running along the side of the sole.
The second is the mule: a backless, slip-on version of the same shoe. In CLOT's visuals it is a tan suede with olive three-stripe detailing, and it carries the same serrated sole. The laces stay on the shoe, but the heel is gone.
Clothing and a bag round out the lineup. The Utility Wrap Jacket, which CLOT describes as having military details, is olive with cargo-style pockets and a wrap front, and the three stripes run from the collar down to the hem. The collection also includes trousers, cargo shorts, a mesh hockey-style top, and a padded, reversible tote that CLOT pitches as an everyday carry piece.
On availability, CLOT says the collection is on sale at juicestore retail locations and globally at JUICESTORE.COM. adidas Originals posted on October 16 that it is on the adidas CONFIRMED app and at select retailers worldwide.
