Collina Strada, the New York fashion label led by founder and creative director Hillary Taymour, has released its first collaboration with Converse: a collection built on the Chuck 70. The first drop went on sale June 16, and the brand's own site now lists the Converse line as a dedicated section.
The collection has four unisex styles: two low tops, one high top and the taller Chuck 70 XXHi. According to press coverage, the details include plaid prints, floral lace overlays, gem embellishments, removable fold-over tongues and custom charms. The colorway names are playful too, with "Mellow Yellow" and "Fire Green/Spinach" among them.
Some of the designs are already familiar to runway watchers. They appeared in Collina Strada's New York Fashion Week shows in September 2025 and February 2026. The label has a long record of footwear partnerships, including Reebok, Viron and Melissa, Vans, Puma and UGG, and this first Converse release is described as part one of a multi-season partnership.
Converse's own listings put the low tops at $165, the high top at $175 and the XXHi at $205. You can buy them at collinastrada.com, converse.com and select retailers.
For Japanese readers, the appeal is a familiar Converse staple reworked by a New York designer in a maximalist, whimsical way. In South Korea, the same collection launched June 17 through Converse's website and Seoul retail locations, and local media tied it to the Y2K and gyaru-inspired trend there.
