Corteiz x Nike Shox R419: First Look at the Metallic Silver Pair
Corteiz founder Clint 419 has shared a first look at the Metallic Silver Nike Shox R4 from the London label's upcoming collaboration. Reports point to three colorways, Black, Metallic Silver and Game Royal, plus matching apparel, arriving later in 2026.
Corteiz, the London streetwear label founded by Clint Ogbenna (Clint 419) in 2017, has shared the first look at its next Nike collaboration: the Shox R419. The preview on Clint's Instagram shows the Nike Shox R4 in a Metallic Silver finish, with a release expected in the latter part of 2026.
The name R419 combines the Shox R4 platform with Clint's own handle. According to the coverage, the pair keeps the retro running silhouette intact, including the streamlined upper and the Shox cushioning columns at the heel. The silver treatment sits on the mechanical-looking sole unit. House of Heat lists the Metallic Silver colorway as Metallic Silver/Metallic Silver/University Red/Black, style code IQ9951-001.
Three colorways are reported for the collection: Black (Black/Black/University Red/Metallic Silver, IQ9951-002), Metallic Silver, and Game Royal (Game Royal/Game Royal/University Red/Black/Metallic Silver, IQ9951-400). Only the Metallic Silver pair has been shown by Clint himself in this first look; the other two come from press reports and campaign imagery covered by House of Heat.
An apparel capsule is expected to ship alongside the shoes, with track jackets, track pants, an AeroLoft vest, pro base layers, jerseys and shorts. Most pieces are said to follow the palettes of the three sneakers. House of Heat also describes technical outerwear, tracksuits, oversized layering pieces and graphic tops in the campaign.
The Shox is a new platform for the partnership. Corteiz was sued by Nike in 2021 over the similarity between its name and the Cortez, then released its first official Nike collaboration in 2023 on the Air Max 95. Further Air Max 95 colorways and an Air Trainer Huarache pack followed. Sneaker Freaker notes that Clint's love of football, especially the Brazilian national team, is well known, and that Shox has returned as a streetwear and high-fashion favorite. Sole Retriever has reported a $180 retail price for the shoes, though the other outlets do not mention one.
