Corteiz x Nike Shox R419 "Game Royal" Coming Holiday 2026: NYC Sneaker Release Guide
London streetwear label Corteiz and Nike rework the 2000 Shox R4 as the R419. The Game Royal pair, nicknamed "Mystique," adds ridged side panels and carbon-fiber-style texture. It costs $190 and is due Holiday 2026, with Corteiz as the reported launch channel.
London streetwear label Corteiz has unveiled its next Nike collaboration, the Shox R419, built on the Nike Shox R4 that first appeared in 2000. It is due Holiday 2026. Corteiz has already worked with Nike on the Air Max 95 and the Air Trainer Huarache, and this time it takes on a Y2K-era silhouette.
The R419 name comes from the online handle of Corteiz founder Clint419. The pack has three colorways, each nicknamed after a Marvel character, though the shoes are not an official Marvel collaboration. "Silver Surfer" is metallic silver, "Black Widow" is mostly black with red cushioning, and the pair in this story is "Mystique," style code IQ9951-400. Its colors are listed as Game Royal, University Red and Black. The blue upper sits over black sections underneath, with metallic Shox columns at the heel.
Corteiz has changed several details on the original R4. The side panels now carry horizontal ridges, and parts of the upper have a texture that looks like carbon fiber. The usual "S" on the tongue becomes a "C," with a CRTZ SHOX logo stamped below it. The custom insoles carry branding from both Corteiz and Nike.
Each pair retails for $190. Reports say the shoe is expected to launch through Corteiz, with a possible SNKRS release as well. It is described as a limited release that will not reach every retailer, and the three colorways may drop separately, as Corteiz has handled earlier Nike projects. A specific release date has not been given, and no New York retail location has been named.
