Craig McDean, the New York-based photographer, has made a book about a single machine: the Ducati 750 Supersport Green Frame. The book, 750 Super Sport, comes with a Tokyo exhibition running October 23 to November 6, 2026, at UNDER R TOKYO in Sendagaya, staged with Ron Herman.
On view are McDean's photographs of the motorcycle, along with the book and a capsule of graphic apparel. T-shirts are priced at ¥8,800 and long-sleeve tops at ¥12,100.
The book is published by Super Labo in a first edition of 1,000 copies. It measures 23.2 by 29.8 centimeters and runs 112 pages with 48 images, in a cloth-bound hardcover printed in color offset.
The day before the show opens, on Thursday, October 22 from 6 to 8 pm, Super Labo Store Tokyo in Kanda Sarugakucho hosts a reception and signing. The reception is open to everyone. Those who want a signature need to buy a copy of the book at the store.
For readers who follow McDean's fashion work, this is a chance to see him focus on one object, in a city where the Japanese fashion and photography audience has long paid close attention to his pictures.
