Crocs Gallery Leather Shoe Arrives Online for NYC Shoppers, $109.99
Crocs turns its loafer-style Gallery hybrid into a genuine-leather shoe with traditional laces, metal hiking-style eyelets and a rubber outsole. It goes on sale October 22 on Crocs.com in Black/Black for $109.99, sizes 6 to 12.
Crocs is adding a genuine-leather version to its Gallery line, the loafer-inspired dress hybrid that has become one of the brand's more unexpected silhouettes. The Gallery Leather Shoe goes on sale October 22 through Crocs.com.
The Gallery first appeared in 2025 in suede, pairing a formal-looking upper with an ultra-chunky rubber sole. Press coverage describes the look as a Clarks Wallabee reworked in Crocs fashion. The new model keeps that shape but swaps in real leather across the upper. Crocs says the shoe retains the refined silhouette of its predecessor and is "crafted from genuine leather for an elevated finish."
The collection's original lacing system stays, which gives the shoe the look of a classic loafer, and the outsole is rubber. Crocs' own tagline for the shoe is "Formal. Functional." The leather versions also add metal, hiking-style eyelets, a slightly outdoorsy detail that Highsnobiety and Luxe Digital both say does not upset the balance between dressy and practical.
The launch is narrow: one colorway, Black/Black, at $109.99. Sizes run from 6 to 12, with a women's and men's toggle on the product page. Shipping is free on orders of $44.99 and up, and returns are free on everything except final-sale items.
Highsnobiety, whose writer on the piece is based in New York, notes that the Gallery arrived last year just as dress-sneaker hybrids such as the New Balance 1906 loafer and the Nike Air Max Phenomena were starting to take off. A year later, it says, formal-flavored sneakers are still holding strong, and the leather Gallery is a new option for that audience. Luxe Digital frames it similarly, calling it a push toward smarter footwear that still leans on Crocs' comfort and rubber-sole heritage.
For New Yorkers who find sneakers too casual for the office or an evening out but don't want a stiff dress shoe, the lace-up leather build sits in that middle ground. The shoe is sold through Crocs.com, so it can be ordered from anywhere in the city.
