Golden Goose x Disney Mickey & Friends Capsule Lands in Space, With a New York Co-Creation Stop
Golden Goose's first collaboration with Disney sends Mickey & Friends into space on Super-Star sneakers, jackets, tees and caps, on sale worldwide since October 13. A 20-city Co-Creation tour, with New York among the stops, lets Disney artists customize pieces in person through early December.

Golden Goose, the Italian maker of handcrafted, deliberately worn-in sneakers, has teamed up with Disney for the first time. The capsule sends Mickey & Friends to the moon in a retro-futuristic style, and it has been on sale worldwide since October 13, 2026, at goldengoose.com and in select Golden Goose stores.

The centerpiece is the Super-Star sneaker. On one side, a tiny astronaut Mickey chases Pluto toward the white leather star. On the other, Donald Duck floats among the stars, and Daisy appears in a space suit. The usual Golden Goose heel tab is replaced by a Mickey-shaped planet, complete with craters and rings, and the motif recurs across the range. Press coverage describes the shoe in vintage-style grey suede with the white leather star, in men's, women's and kids' sizes.

Apparel covers kids and adults: tees and hoodies featuring Pluto, Donald, Minnie and Daisy, minimalist tees, and varsity and reversible bomber jackets. Reports also mention distressed sweatshirts and a polo. Caps include a denim style for children with Mickey's silhouette and a distressed version for adults. Galaxy-print laces, vintage-style patches and collectible pins can be added through Co-Creation, Golden Goose's personalization program.

The second half of the project is a Co-Creation tour through 20 cities, among them New York, Orlando, Miami, Mexico City, Milan, Paris, London, Shanghai, Tokyo and Seoul. Activations run into early December. At the events, Disney artists add hand-drawn characters to customers' pieces and make live illustrations on co-branded cards. Golden Goose's artisans, called Dream Makers, run workshops for making Mickey ears, custom keychains and coloring comic-book illustrations.

Registration is handled through the Disney page on Golden Goose's website. Tokyo is one of the stops, which gives readers in Japan a local way into the project.
