Woburn Walk, a line produced by Nepenthes London, has collaborated with G.H. Bass on a Venetian loafer. The American shoemaker was founded in 1876 and marks its 150th anniversary this year. The new shoe is called the Cobra Wedge Venetian Pin and comes in Black and Wine leather.

It builds on the Cobra Vamp, a Venetian loafer associated with the peak of the Ivy League look. The polished leather upper sits higher on the vamp than the standard version, and a brass-finished safety pin runs through the leather. The pin nods to London youth culture and punk, set against a traditional American shoe. A Vibram Morflex wedge sole adds lightness, flexibility and cushioning.

The loafers are sold at Nepenthes New York, 307 West 38th Street, which is open daily from noon to 7 p.m. Sizes can also be checked on the Nepenthes America online store. No price was stated in the announcement.
