Nike Air Max 90 “Light Orewood Brown” Arrives Nov. 1 for New York Sneaker Fans

Nike is adding a new colorway to the Air Max 90, the runner Tinker Hatfield designed and Nike released in 1990. The “Light Orewood Brown,” style code IX8056-104, goes on sale November 1, 2026, for $145.

The palette stays neutral. Nike lists the color as Light Orewood Brown/Blue Tint/Sail/Neutral Olive, so the interest comes from materials rather than loud color. Textured mesh covers the toe box and collar. Translucent panels run along the sides and around the laces. The mudguards are glossy beige patent leather, which adds contrast against the mesh without bringing in another color.

Nike carries the see-through treatment onto the tongue labels and heel tabs, leaving the branding visible underneath. The laces are cream, the lining matches, and the midsole is tonal with the familiar visible Air unit. The outsole is semi-translucent as well.

One of the odder details is a metallic Swoosh hangtag attached to the laces. It carries an engraved pattern that is also printed on the insoles. Sneaker Bar Detroit and SneakerFiles both report that the same artwork, along with patent leather and translucent accents, will appear on upcoming Air Max 95 and Air Force 1 releases. SneakerFiles describes the pattern as tribal-inspired.

The shoe releases through Nike.com and select retailers. SneakerFiles names Foot Locker, Finish Line and Shiekh among them, and says it will come in men’s sizing only.

For buyers who want an Air Max 90 that stays quiet in color but changes the texture of the upper, this pair is aimed at that: glossy patent, mesh and see-through panels in one muted scheme. The reported price is $145.
