Nike Air Max 90 "Light Orewood Brown" Arrives Nov. 1 With Patent Leather and Translucent Overlays
Nike's Air Max 90 gets a neutral Light Orewood Brown and Sail colorway built around glossy patent mudguards, translucent overlays and a semi-translucent outsole. It releases November 1, 2026, for $145 on Nike.com and at select retailers.
Nike is giving the Air Max 90 a quieter, material-driven update with the "Light Orewood Brown" colorway, style code IX8056-104. Tinker Hatfield's runner, first released in 1990, is dressed in Light Orewood Brown and Sail, with Blue Tint and Neutral Olive listed in the full color name, so the interest comes from texture rather than loud color.
Textured mesh covers the toe box and collar. Translucent panels run along the sides and around the laces, and the mudguards are glossy beige patent leather that contrasts with the mesh without adding another hue. The see-through material carries over to the tongue labels and heel tabs, leaving the branding visible underneath. Cream laces and a matching lining finish the upper, with a tonal midsole, the visible Air unit and a semi-translucent outsole below.
One of the odder details is a metallic Swoosh hangtag attached to the laces. It is engraved with an intricate pattern, and the same artwork is printed on the insoles. Reports say the detailing is not exclusive to this pair: upcoming Air Max 95 and Air Force 1 releases carry similar graphics, along with patent leather and translucent accents.
