Nike SB is releasing a new colorway of its Air Force 1 Low SE, "Cool Grey and Court Green" (style code IV5289-003), on October 27 at 2:00 PM through the Nike SNKRS app. The retail price is $120. It is an online-only launch, so New Yorkers can take part through the app rather than at a store.

The upper is premium suede in Cool Grey, which Nike says gives the fit more flexibility. Court Green appears on the Swoosh and heel area, and a matching Court Green outsole completes the look. In the official photos, the green Swoosh sits large against the grey suede, with a black midsole between the upper and the green rubber, and a Nike SB logo on the underfoot pad. A plush collar adds padding around the ankle.

The design retools the classic 1980s Air Force 1 construction for skateboarding. The Air Force 1 was introduced in 1982 and redefined basketball footwear from the hardwood to the blacktop. It was the first basketball sneaker to house Nike Air, though Nike notes that its innovative side has since taken a backseat to its status as a street icon.

The colorway has a skate-shop link. According to Highsnobiety and SneakerFiles, the same Cool Grey and Court Green scheme was used for a Nocturnal collaboration, a Philadelphia skate shop's version released only at its store on October 17 as part of Nike SB's City Pack. The SNKRS pair is the version without Nocturnal branding, with the same suede construction and color scheme. The City Pack also includes versions from Fly Streetwear in Shanghai, Ben-G in Amsterdam and Instant Skateboards in Tokyo, a Japan connection for readers following the line.
