Nike has added a new women's colorway to its Zoom Vomero 5, named "Black/Medium Soft Pink/Metallic Silver" (style code IX7042-010). Sneaker News, Sneaker Bar Detroit and Nice Kicks all describe it as a Holiday 2026 style, and it is now sold through Nike's website for $170.

The main change is the leather. Medium Soft Pink overlays cover the forefoot and heel, and their edges are cut in jagged lines that roughen up the shoe's usual layered look. Small metal studs frame the two main quarter panels.

Silver appears on the Swooshes. A small one sits near the toe, and a larger one on the side panel is outlined in black. The mesh base layer and the Cushlon midsole are both black, so the pink leather and silver hardware carry most of the contrast.

Two more details set it apart from earlier Vomero 5 pairs. The tongue is black leather instead of the usual mesh, and the shoe is laced with black ribbon laces rather than standard ones. Sneaker News calls the result edgy, feminine and Y2K, while Nice Kicks nicknames the pair "Soft Girl Grunge" and compares its feel to a battle jacket.

The Vomero 5 began as a running shoe: the Nike Zoom Vomero+ 5 reached running stores in 2010 and was replaced by the sixth version a year later. It returned about a decade later as a lifestyle sneaker and has since appeared in a long list of colorways. Nice Kicks says this pair may be the furthest the model has strayed from its running roots.

This release is sold on Nike's website, not at a specific New York store. Sizes listed run from women's 5 to women's 12, and the price is $170.
