NYC Fashion: UGG x JW Anderson Reworks the Classic Boot and Tasman as Loafers

UGG and JW Anderson, the label led by Jonathan Anderson, have teamed up to reinterpret two of the brand's best-known silhouettes: the Classic Boot and the Tasman. The starting point is JW Anderson's distinctive loafer design.

The collection centres on two styles, the Loafer Boot and the Loafer. Both introduce rounded toes and signature box-stitching, while keeping the comfort of UGG's usual materials and cushioning. In effect, the familiar shearling shoe takes on the more polished look of a loafer.

Each style comes in three colours: military green, chestnut and tangerine. On JW Anderson's US site, the Loafer Boot is $400, while the Loafer is listed as sold out in all three colours. The collection comprises six pieces in total.

The line was introduced at a party in a London townhouse. UGG also has retail locations in New York, which makes this an easy one to follow for anyone in the city looking to change up their cold-weather footwear.
