Ten c, the outerwear label under Enzo Fusco's FGF Industry Group, and Japan's Comoli have released their first collaboration. Rather than setting two recognizable signatures side by side, the project begins with the garment itself: how it is built, how the fabric behaves and how it takes on character with wear. The result is an eight-piece wardrobe, entirely in black, where texture, weight and proportion do the talking instead of branding.
The material palette crosses between the two brands. Ten c's Original Japanese Jersey (OJJ) meets the Japanese cotton flannel long associated with Comoli, joined by piece-dyed crinkle ripstop nylon, satin and brushed stretch wool. The Hooded Coat pairs 11 oz OJJ with cotton flannel, while the Reversible Jacket, Reversible Track Jacket and Reversible Pants flip between crinkled nylon and flannel.
The full lineup: Field Jacket, Reversible Jacket, Reversible Track Jacket, Liner, Hooded Coat, Knit, Knit Pants and Reversible Pants. Reversibility is treated as part of how the clothes are worn, not a technical flourish; inside and outside trade roles so each piece can read differently. Ten c's functional construction meets Comoli's feel for volume and ease.
The collection was unveiled October 23 at an invitation-only event at Comoli Tokyo. On October 24 it went on sale exclusively at Comoli's two directly operated stores in Tokyo and Matsumoto. The international release followed on October 26 through selected retailers and Ten c's official online store, which is the route for New Yorkers looking for a quiet, tactile black winter wardrobe.
