NYC Sneaker Drop: Air Jordan 11 "Magic Ball" Brings Space Jam's Glow to the Shoe on Nov. 11

Jordan Brand is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Space Jam with a three-shoe run of the Air Jordan 11, and the "Magic Ball" pair is one of them. It takes its cue from the glowing ball the Monstars wield in the film.

The standout feature is the color-shifting metallic green leather upper, whose tone changes with the light and the angle. Off Noir and flashes of Metallic Silver round out the palette, giving the familiar AJ11 silhouette a charged, otherworldly look. Nike's own description frames it as the power of a single touch of the Magic Ball landing on an iconic shoe. The style code is IZ1800-200, and it retails for $235.

The rollout comes in two steps. The wider collection, which includes clothing, reaches the Nike website and Jordan Brand stores on Nov. 5. The Magic Ball shoe itself follows on Nov. 11 at 3:00 PM.

Space Jam and all related characters and elements are © and ™ Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. The Jordan 11 is the model long associated with Michael Jordan's appearance in the film, and this release turns the movie's most recognizable prop into a material.
