Nike Air Force 1 Luxe in Black/Bucktan: A Boot-Soled Low for NYC Streets, $150 Online
Nike's Air Force 1 Luxe in Black/Bucktan (DB4109-001) pairs glossy black leather and gold accents with a thick, lugged sole borrowed from outdoor boots. Highsnobiety reports it at $150 on Nike's website, a dressier Air Force 1 Low for fall and winter in New York.

Nike has added a Black/Bucktan/Gum Yellow/Black colorway, style DB4109-001, to the Air Force 1 Luxe. The Luxe takes the basketball classic and pushes it toward craftsmanship and city-boot attitude. Highsnobiety describes the result as a work boot disguised as a well-dressed sneaker.

The upper is glossy black leather with gold accents. Underfoot sits the real talking point: a thick rubber outsole with deep lugs that recalls Nike's outdoor boots. Nike says the rugged tread keeps a city vibe while adding traction and durability. Stitching runs along the midsole for an artisan touch, and Nike Air technology absorbs impact with each step.

The smaller details hold up on a closer look. The toe box is perforated, a double Swoosh sits on the sides, and the tongue carries a debossed logo. The laces are round and easy to grab, the top eyelet uses durable hardware, and the padded low-cut collar keeps the profile sleek.

Per Highsnobiety, the shoe costs $150 on Nike's website. Nike's guidance on fit is that it runs large, so it recommends ordering half a size down. Highsnobiety notes that the Luxe has appeared in other colorways before, and that Nike is currently pushing several sneaker-boots and boot-minded sneakers, including Air Max Goadome Lows and Air Force 1s built with GORE-TEX and Vibram.
For New York wearers heading into colder months, the black-on-gold palette and chunky sole make an easy match with fall and winter outfits. For anyone who already owns a pair of Air Force 1s, it adds a notch more polish to a familiar silhouette. It is sold on Nike's website.
