NYC Sneaker Watch: Nike Air Force 1 Low Squair Toe Drops November 3
Nike's Air Force 1 Low Squair Toe swaps the rounded toe box for a squared one, in textured leather. White and black versions arrive November 3 at Nike stores and nike.com, and Naked already has the black pair.

Nike is giving its most familiar sneaker a new profile. The Air Force 1 Low Squair Toe replaces the rounded toe box with a squared one and slims the overall silhouette, and it goes on sale November 3.
The shoe is built from textured, premium leather, which gives the familiar AF1 upper a more polished, slightly dressier feel. It comes in two colorways, white and black. The white pair, style code JF7766-100, is presented as a women's model, and Nike describes it as the classic Air Force 1 shape with a sleek refresh.
The Air Force 1 dates to 1982. It was the first basketball sneaker to carry Nike Air, and although that technical story has long since taken a back seat, the shoe has become a street icon. The Squair Toe doesn't tamper with that DNA. It changes one thing, the line of the toe, and lets everything else stay recognizable.
In New York, the shoe will be sold at Nike stores in the city and on nike.com. Naked, the sneaker boutique, already has the black pair in hand, so anyone who prefers black has an earlier route.
Because the AF1 is a perennial seller and sizes tend to thin out quickly, plan to shop on release day if you have your eye on a specific size. The squared toe pairs easily with straight-leg jeans and tailored trousers, which suits the shoe's slightly dressier cut.
