Stella McCartney's Appaloosa Bag Anchors 'Wild Horses' Film With Kylie Jenner, Available to NYC Shoppers Online

Stella McCartney has released Wild Horses, the short film anchoring its Winter 2026 campaign. Conceived by Stella herself, directed by Gia Coppola and starring Kylie Jenner, it arrives alongside the house's Appaloosa bag, now front and center in the collection.

The bag takes its name from the breed of Lucky Spot, the stallion Linda McCartney rode. Stella says she was riding with her mother across the hills of Scotland on that Appaloosa before she was even born, and describes the collection as rooted in a lifelong love of horses.

In the film, Jenner stands in water alongside a trained horse. The piece pairs contemporary glamour with the raw beauty of nature and puts coexistence, rather than control, at its center.

The campaign page lists several Appaloosa bucket bags. The Tiny Bucket Bag is $1,050 in black, red and a multicolored leopard print. The Medium Bucket Bag in black is $1,325, and the Whipstitch Medium Bucket Bag in red, shown as a runway look, is $1,350. Elsewhere in the edit are the Falabella Chainmail Tiny Tote at $1,595 and a silver Chainmail Halterneck Top at $1,990.

The campaign also carries an advocacy message. Stella points to the roundup of America's wild horses, which she says separates animals from their families and habitats, and says she wants the project to inform the public. The house says it is supporting equine welfare charities worldwide. The pieces are sold through the brand's U.S. online store, which serves New York shoppers.
