Todd Snyder has applied its coffee-shop sensibility to the New Balance T500, releasing a two-colorway "Cafe Pack" called Espresso and Milk.

The T500 has had a varied life. Highsnobiety notes that the tennis model has been worn on the court, adopted as a skate shoe, and turned into an everyday walking sneaker by Jack Harlow. For this collaboration, Todd Snyder keeps that easygoing tennis profile but changes the surface, pairing hairy suede with creamy leather to echo coffee textures. Sneakers Cartel likewise reports suede and leather in place of the canvas that usually defines the shoe.

The two colorways are named for the drink and its partner. Espresso takes the dark coffee side of the pairing, while Milk goes lighter and creamier. Highsnobiety describes the combination as quality materials plus coffee-inspired color, which gives the shoe a more premium feel while it stays a simple, low-key sneaker.

This is not Todd Snyder's first project with New Balance. Highsnobiety points to earlier collaborations, including a 992 made for the model's 10th anniversary, so the T500 continues an existing partnership rather than starting a new one.

The Cafe Pack costs $130 and is available now on Todd Snyder's website. For readers in Japan who follow New Balance collaborations, the online listing is the place to look for the two colorways.
