Burger Village, the burger group built around organic ingredients, opens a new restaurant in Fresh Meadows, Queens, on November 15. The address is 61-09 190th Street. The team behind Kashi in Downtown Brooklyn is involved in the new location.
This is a full-service restaurant. The centerpiece is the organic, grass-fed beef burger, but the menu goes further: bison, elk, lamb and wild-caught salmon are all options. Wings and tacos round out the table, and a full bar pours cocktails, so the room works for a sit-down dinner as well as a drink after work.
To mark the opening, the first 100 diners on November 15 receive a free burger. Anyone planning to go on day one will want to arrive early.
Burger Village already has locations in Tribeca (120 Church Street) and Park Slope (222 7th Ave), along with several on Long Island. Across the brand, the menu includes vegan and plant-based burgers, gluten-free choices and peanut-free kitchens, as well as organic sweetened sodas and a fresh root beer. Its loyalty program awards one point for every dollar spent.
For eastern Queens, the opening adds a table-service burger spot with unusual proteins and a bar. It sits a short trip from Flushing, which makes it a practical weekend option for groups with mixed dietary needs.
