Resy's New York editors keep a continuously updated list of new restaurants and bars that have joined the booking platform. The current version covers Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and Governors Island, and the range is wide.

For readers with ties to Japan and Korea, a few entries stand out. Motoishi in NoMad is a yakiniku spot built around high-quality beef, grilled tableside and served with Korean banchan and sundubu. Edoya Sushi on the Lower East Side is a family operation: chef Edgar works alongside his son, and together they have more than 30 years of experience. The menu runs from omakase and à la carte to lunch and even breakfast, so you can order a bacon-egg-and-cheese on a roll or a 13-course seasonal nigiri meal in the same room. In Long Island City, TTAN has a self-serve sake machine, pachinko-inspired games on the wall and miso soy milk udon.

On the bar side, After Eden on the Lower East Side is a Vietnamese coffee house by day and a cocktail bar by night, with beef tartare and prawn chips, caviar spring rolls and crispy turmeric shrimp tacos. It is open daily until 2 a.m. Zoo Sindang in Midtown South is the New York outpost of a well-loved Seoul bar, a speakeasy-style room with a hidden-garden feel and cocktails inspired by the Eastern zodiac. Bar Chimera in Midtown East, the first bar project from the Cote team, combines a wine bar, a martini bar and a whiskey bar, each run by its own expert.

Meat and seafood fill out the list. Andrew Steak Society in the East Village serves steakhouse classics, from shrimp cocktail and Maine lobster to ribeye and creamed spinach, in crimson banquettes. Dumbo Oyster Bar offers a rotating oyster list, lobster rolls and Old Bay fries near the waterfront, and Six Coasts on Governors Island runs a seafood menu spanning the Caribbean, Gulf Coast, Pacific and Atlantic. Little Falcon in Fort Greene, an evolution of Third Falcon, serves French bistro cooking with an entrée, a plate and dessert for $48 and a wine list entirely under $100.
