Brooklyn design studio Bower Studios has partnered with Michigan-made lighting and furniture brand Roll & Hill on Fringe, a new mirror collection. Each piece sets a timber frame around mirrored panels in several tones.
The collection has five pieces. Two are round, at 24 and 32 inches in diameter. Three are arched, at 36, 42 and 72 inches. The 72-inch version is tall enough to lean against a wall as a full-length mirror. Finishes include black walnut, white, ebonized oak and vintage oak, across hard maple, oak and walnut.
Prices start at $3,960. The mirrors are sold through Roll & Hill's website, with shipping from March 2027. The company's New York showroom is at 3 Mercer Street, which also handles sales inquiries.
Where a standard mirror reflects a room evenly, the shifting tones of Fringe's panels give the reflection layers of light and depth, set against the warmth of the wood. That contrast between timber and glass is the collection's main appeal.
For New Yorkers furnishing an apartment, a new piece from a Brooklyn studio is worth a look, particularly for anyone who wants the wall itself to be the focal point. Comparing sizes and finishes side by side is the easiest way to find the right fit.
