NY Weekly, Oct 26–Nov 1: Halloween, the Marathon and a Few Quiet Shows

Halloween on the 31st and the marathon on November 1 will crowd the streets this week. Between them, we picked three Japan-linked shows and three exhibitions that close at the end of October. ICP's survey of Japanese women photographers, Ippodo's kana show in iron and mother-of-pearl, and the Noguchi Museum's archive display all suit a calm day. For food, we lean toward a Japanese counter.
