Balloon Museum has opened its first permanent U.S. flagship inside the Tin Building at 96 South St, in the Seaport district of Lower Manhattan. The museum is run by Lux Entertainment, and its earlier exhibitions have drawn more than 8 million visitors worldwide. The New York space is presented as the first permanent home for inflatable art.

The opening exhibition is Daydream – Air Becomes Art. It takes as its theme the moment when reality gives way to imagination, and it works with air, light, sound and movement to build immersive environments. The lineup includes internationally recognized artists, among them Marina Abramović.

The idea is that visitors do more than look. The rooms are designed to be touched, walked through and shared with other people, so guests become part of the work itself. The exhibition is suitable for all ages, which makes it an easy option for families or mixed groups. It is a physical, playful take on contemporary art rather than quiet gallery viewing.

Tickets can be booked for a set day and time. A Flex Ticket is also offered, valid for exhibition access without date or time restrictions, which suits travelers with loose plans. The official page currently advertises 30% off Daydream. Group bookings and private events are handled at newyork@balloonmuseum.world, and ticketing questions go to support@universe.com. The Seaport waterfront setting makes it simple to pair a visit with a walk along the East River.
