Vermont-born, New York-based comedian Kendall Farrell taped his first hour-long stand-up special on Sunday, October 18, at Littlefield, the Gowanus venue at 635 Sackett Street in Brooklyn. The taping was split across an early show and a late show.

Ashley Gavin and Rachel Feinstein, both nationally touring comics, executive produced the project and handled introductions on the night. Carmen Lagala warmed up the crowd. Matt Ott directed. He also directed Lagala's special Sweet Batch, which has passed 300,000 views, and more recently Prosciutto Rose, the special from Netflix FunnyAF finalist Caitlin Peluffo.
Farrell was named a "Comic To Watch" at the New York City Comedy Festival and headlined Caroline's on Broadway in its "Breakout Artist" series. His work has appeared on SiriusXM, Cracked and Adult Swim, and at festivals including the Brooklyn Comedy Festival and Limestone Comedy Festival. He has opened for Michelle Wolf, Beth Stelling, Matteo Lane and others.
Back in Vermont, he won the state's Funniest Comedian contest and was profiled by Seven Days as an up-and-coming act. Since moving to New York he has played The Bell House, Comedians You Should Know at The Gutter, New York Comedy Club, UCB and Union Hall. He co-produced and co-hosted the Brooklyn show Just Come!, which Splitsider named one of the best alt-comedy shows in Brooklyn within a year of its start.
The hour covers his height, "curious" straight men on Grindr, life as the liberal black sheep of a conservative family, and whether you can really work your way to the top. The taping capped more than a decade of building an audience in both the Vermont and New York comedy scenes.
