Marian Goodman Gallery's New York space at 385 Broadway in Tribeca presents "nameless," an exhibition by Nairy Baghramian, from November 11, 2026 to January 16, 2027.
Baghramian works in sculpture, installation, drawing and photography. Her practice concerns how language, history and the present relate to us in terms of time, space and social life. The forms she makes take shape in response to the conditions of a particular context, or to the premises of the medium in which she is working.
Those structures can open a conversation with a site that stays unresolved and responsive. They can also loosen the assigned bond between an object and its meaning. Rather than treating a sculpture as something that settles into a single reading, her approach lets meaning shift through the relationship between the work, the viewer and the room.
The title, "nameless," sits comfortably with that outlook, which questions how names and meanings attach to things. How the works will occupy the gallery is the main thing to see.
The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 am to 6 pm. Marian Goodman also operates spaces in Paris and London, and the Broadway location makes an easy stop on a gallery walk through Tribeca.
