The Vessel's Holiday Lighting Ceremony Returns to Hudson Yards, NYC, With Anthony Ramos on Nov. 16

Vessel, the honeycomb-like landmark at the center of Hudson Yards, holds its second annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony on Monday, November 16, at 6 PM. It takes place in the Public Square & Gardens and opens Shine Bright at Hudson Yards, a seasonal program presented by Wells Fargo. The ceremony is free and open to the public.

Helen Little of 106.7 Lite FM hosts. The headliner is Anthony Ramos, a Grammy Award-winning artist, actor and singer-songwriter. Secret NYC adds that he is also Emmy-nominated and known for Hamilton, In the Heights and Twisters. The New York Vocal Collective performs live, and the Brooklyn United Drumline, which Secret NYC describes as bringing an HBCU-style marching sound, plays alongside additional live entertainment through the evening.

The main draw is the debut of Vessel's new holiday light show. Once the lights come on, Vessel ticket holders can explore the new interior holiday display. Secret NYC reports that an 18-foot illuminated mistletoe installation is the centerpiece.

According to Secret NYC, the ceremony runs from 6 to 7 PM at 20 Hudson Yards, between 30th and 33rd Streets. Vessel runs a special schedule that day, open 11 AM to 5 PM and reopening after the ceremony from 7 to 9 PM. Tickets to climb Vessel are reserved through vesselnyc.com.

Shine Bright at Hudson Yards runs from November 16 through January 7, 2027. During that time, more than two million lights decorate the neighborhood.
