Ludovic Nkoth presents a new series of paintings in what the gallery describes as his first major solo show in New York. The works picture dancers, figures in contact, and groups of profiles, treating movement as something both bodily and psychological. Informed by ballet, performance and the experience of migration, the show reflects on how people learn to move through the world, and on what the body retains afterward.
