Noah x Timex Boatswain Watch: A $228 Oval Dress Watch with a Rope-Ringed Dial
Noah's latest Timex collaboration, the Boatswain, is a 31 x 35 mm oval quartz watch with a cream dial, Roman numerals and a rope-pattern ring, in gold-tone with black leather or steel with brown leather. $228, released October 15.

Noah, the menswear label with its flagship on Mulberry Street in Nolita, released its latest Timex collaboration on October 15: the Boatswain. A boatswain is the officer in charge of a ship's deck and rigging, and the watch leans into the nautical themes Noah has long favored. Its cream dial pairs Roman numerals with an inner ring patterned like rope.

The case is an elongated oval measuring 31 x 35 mm, with 18 mm lugs. There are two versions, each $228: a gold-plated case on a black leather strap, and a stainless-steel case on a brown leather strap. It runs on a quartz movement under mineral glass and is water resistant to 30 meters. Timex made it exclusively for Noah, and discounts do not apply.

It is the latest in a run of Noah x Timex pieces this year, after the 36 mm MK1 Anchor Watch with its anchor graphic in August ($248) and the Oval Moon Phase Watch in September ($228). The Boatswain is the dressiest of the three.

It is sold online and at the Noah flagship, 195 Mulberry Street (Monday to Saturday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday noon to 6 p.m.). As of October 17, both versions show as sold out online.
